Get Paid for Your Internship!
Apply by September 24, 2003 for one of four $1200 Internship Grants.
Excited about your upcoming fall internship but wishing your labor hours would also help you pay your rent? Wish no more -- take action and apply for the CLA Undergraduate Internship Grant.
This internship grant program is a competitive program that helps financially support students working in unpaid internships. If you want to apply you must be a registered CLA student, sophomore level or above, and you must have a non-paying internship (120 hours minimum) already set up. Guidelines, instructions, and the application for the Grant Program can be downloaded from www.cclc.umn.edu/students/undergradinterngrant.html or picked up at CCLC in 135 Johnston Hall.
Meeting with the Grant Advisor in CCLC for a review of your application before you submit it is also strongly advised (make an appointment to do this by calling 624-7577).
Approximately four general Internship Grants are awarded each term, in addition to other special awards with more specific eligibility requirements. All applicants will automatically be considered for all awards for which they are eligible.
So don't miss the Wednesday, September 24, 2003 deadline! If you have all materials submitted to CCLC by 4:30 pm that day, you may be one of this grant's next winners!
