Languages and Mathematics Student Community
Welcome to the Languages & Mathematics Student Community. We're here to help you make the most out of your CLA undergraduate experience. Our office is made up of a community coordinator, four academic advisers, one office specialist, and two peer advisers who are all ready to help point you in the right direction. Check out our staff list.

We assist students who are studying at least one of our 20 different majors, including Spanish, French, German, Asian Languages & Literatures, Computer Science, Statistics, and Mathematics, just to name a few. We also serve students who are undecided or considering transferring to other colleges. For a complete list of majors that we serve look here.

Not going to Cancun during spring break? Consider making an appointment with your adviser! We are available to help you year round. We can't provide you with flip flops or a tan, but as your college advising office we can assist you in choosing a major, helping you navigate the U, and planning for your graduation, among other things. We can also help you make up for not going to Mexico by telling you how to start planning for your study abroad trip next year.

To set up an appointment call our front desk at 612-624-7540, stop by the office in 114 Johnston, or make an appointment online yourself. In addition to regularly scheduled appointments, you can come in for some quick advice during our walk-in hours (M-F 10-12, 1:30-2:30).

We encourage you to explore our website and we look forward to seeing you soon!
